God our Father, I pray in Jesus' Name through Your Holy Spirit. I command all Pokemon images in my sphere of influence to disapear and leave, I ask this in Jesus' Name, and Power and Omnipresent presence. I ask for a hedge of protection from Your Heavenly angels to protect my kids and the kids my children encounter. Iask for parent's eyes to be opened to this Satan's resting place.

This is such a non-issue to Christians. When I have discussed this topic with pastors or parents that have children that dabble in the witchcraft of pokemon, their eyes glaze over; and I know they haven't heard a word I have said.
A couple of years ago, I was having a trial with P, with his obsession with Pokemon. I reasearched it and prayed and studied the Bible on idolatry and witchcraft. I asked an internet ministry to write some information on it. They e-mailed me back, and told me it was a non-issue with them and had such a small sphere of influence on children that they weren't interested in commenting on it. Apparantly they have changed their mind:

At the Rock Community Church we have had a seminar on Popeye moments. These are holy fire moments like when Jesus cleared out the temple of money changers. Like when Moses came down from Mount Sinai and broke the Tablets of the Law. When Moses made the Israelites eat their golden calf by making them eat the gold by putting it in their water. A Popeye moment is when you have holy rage. When Popeye couldn't take it anymore, when Brutus was picking on Olive Olye. Popeye would eat his spinach and get energized and take care of Brutus.
My kids don't have Pokemon cards. P. still likes to play the X-Box games and Gameboy games that his friends have. My kids have been going to day camp through New Baltimore Recreation. On Monday R. brought home a craft that was a homemade Poke ball. The ball that holds the Pokemon demons. I discussed Pokemon with my kids on the way home. We also discussed it yesterday morning. It was a church kid that made the Pokemon craft and gave it to R. Yesterday another church kid was wearing a Pokemon shirt.
This is child's play. Parents gloss over it as harmless. Is the issues that the devil deals in harmless?
Am I making much out of nothing? Am I giving Satan too much credit? I am so tired of the silence and apathy in Church on this issue.

I know, it's pretty lame. It was a struggle getting P. ready for school and out the door. I'm still recovering. It is very clear to me why I had to travail in my soul so long in infertility. This is no joke. I think God had to find some patience in me, before He could make me fertile.
P. is eight years old. Although P. is smarter than me, in an idiot-savant kind of way, P. can take one hour to write one sentence on a book report about Squanto. And because of this, P. and I were working on the Squanto book report this morning when I had coffee grounds in my coffee.
P. had 3 years of Montessori training. He can read and understand the Bible, and preach it to you. But he cannot tie his shoes. He cannot keep at his desk at school. He is more stubborn than Baalam's mule. How am I going to raise this boy?
