the genetics of sin

In the news was a report from Israeli scientists that there is found in the genes of wicked dictators a strand of DNA that is longer than the not-so-dictator types.  I wonder how they got a sample from Castro and Hitler and Haman and Herod.

Anyway.  It makes sense to me.  If everything is moving toward denegration.  If DNA that is passed on is moving toward decay.  And more decay leads to more decay.  What I personally believe is that sin caused decay.  A spiral of decay that is self-propigating.  That that origingal sin that was passed on from Adam is quite simply genetic.  It is sin that leads to death.  A sin that is passed from one generation to the next.  Right in our DNA.  That is why a blood sacrifice by a pure blameless righteous One is the only sacrifice that covers, the only sacrifice that can repair our DNA.  Here's another way to say it.  Jesus is the Word of God made flesh.  The Word made creation.  The Word made us.  The Word can recreate us, make God in us.  The Word is a double-edged sword, piercing through all the layers of flesh, right to where the marrow in our bones is made.  The marrow of our bones is where the blood is made.  Our blood.  Our sin tainted blood.  Christ in the Word; Christ, the Word can cut right through our flesh, pierce through to our blood, our tainted blood; can wash it clean. 

Let it be Your blood, Who coarses through our veins, Who rushes through our arteries, that pumps our heart.  Pure.

Dinosaur periods now overlap

Under the category of pseudu-science in the news today, the National Geographic Society among others paid for a study that concluded that the different periods separating the various species of dinosaurs now overlap, because they have found samples of species that were supposedly evolved from each other coexisting at the same time for periods of 30 million years.

Keep it simple, stupid.

The reason these species were discovered living together is that they did live together.  They didn't evolve into one another.  They were created by God at the same time.  They lived during the same period of time.  They died at the same time.

I have a problem with experts telling lies.   Publishing lies.  Then more experts believing their lies, using the preexisting lies to support their own lies.  What is the truth?

That's simple too, the Bible tells the truth.  In great and marvelous detail.  It's such an incredible diet, that I promise that if you ingest it on a daily regimen, you will start to crave nothing else.  It's a page turner you can't put down.  It's Words of life that consume you.  It changes you.

I have a problem with "great" "Christian" writers that instead of castigating literature that has witchcraft in it, actually crafting it themselves.  Do you know why C.S. Lewis is dangerous?  Because he made witchcraft pallatable to Christians.  Christians are feeding on Harry Power.  Are those same Christians believing that God's Word is truth?  Are they believing that only some of it (the Bible) is Truth?  Those same Christians are preaching in your churches.  They are working in the church nurseries.  They are leading singing during worship.  I have a problem with this.

Back to indoctrinization:  My kids received their August copy of National Geographic Kids magazine today.  On the cover is "New, Harry Potter Movie" with Harry waving a magic wand.  The inside article has a warning for kids to be sure to ask their parent's permission to watch the movie, because it is PG-13.

Deutetonomy 18:9-14

When you come into the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of these nations.  There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or who uses divination, or is a soothsayer, or an augur, or a sorcerer.  For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and it is because of these abominable practices that the Lord your God is driving them out before you.  You shall be blameless [and absolutely true] to the Lord your God.  For those nations whom you shall dispossess listen to soothsayers and diviners.  But as for you, the Lord your God has not allowed you to do so.

Nowadays, nations do not separate practices.  Religions don't.  Everything is getting mixed together.  Homoginized.  There seems to be no wrong or right.  No salt, no light, no hot or cold.
